It's July 4th. Today, we are not republicans or democrats. We are not conservatives, moderates, or liberals. We are not black, brown, yellow, red or white. We are not Christian, Jew, Muslim, Hindu, Wiccan, or Atheist. TODAY, OF ALL DAYS, WE ARE AMERICANS! For this day is the day that our founding fathers and mothers fought a war of independence for. For this day is the day that the constitution that we love to argue about was created. For this is the day that has made the United States the beacon of the world. The shining light of democracy that the rest of the world envies.

For this day, we should put aside our differences and celebrate our similarity. We are all Americans. We are fellow citizens. Have a great 4th.
